WHAT IS HIGH CRI?
CRI (color rendering index) is a measure of how accurately a light source illuminates objects' true colors. Our LED lights have CRI values of up to 98, indicating that our LED lights are able to produce white light that approximates halogen or incandescent lighting and natural daylight.
A VISUAL COMPARISON
MORE THAN JUST HIGH CRI
CRI is merely an index value that considers 8 color samples. Though not included in the calculation of CRI, the CRI R9 special test color sample index is typically very low in blue-chip LED lights, reflecting the fact that they render red colors particularly poorly. Yuji LED lights have Ra values all above 90, and due to our innovative method of producing white light through a different type of chip and multiple phosphor conversion, we have achieved white LED light that is both quantitatively and qualitatively superior. FULL SPECTRUM LIGHTING
Above is a comparison of a 2700K Yuji VX LED spectrum with a competing 2700K 85 CRI blue LED. Notable in the VX spectrum are the lack of a blue peak at 450 nm and a valley that follows around 485 nm (present in the blue chip LED), and a spectrum that very closely follows that of an incandescent.
Below is a comparison between a 5600K Yuji VX LED, a competing 5600K blue LED, and a "daylight" 5000K CFL. Unlike the others, the Yuji VX LED provides full, even coverage across the spectrum, including the deep violet and deep red regions.
APPLICATIONS OF HIGH CRI LED LIGHTING
High CRI full spectrum lighting can dramatically improve the appearance of objects, particularly in retail stores, shops, super-markets, museums, galleries and exhibits where red colors are prominent and presentation and appearance are critical. High CRI LED Lighting also has other applications in areas such as hospitals or textile industries where color differentiation is crucial in work performance. High CRI LEDs are ideal in locations where savings in energy consumption are desired, yet quality of light must be maintained.

Natural white LEDs using blue chip emission are well suited for applications requiring high power, efficiency and excellent color rendering. Yuji Lighting's phosphor expertise provides best-in-class luminous efficacy and stability.
Full spectrum white LEDs using violet chip emission provide the highest rendering quality in the industry - up to 98 CRI. Output covers the entire spectrum including violets, cyans, deep reds, and brings out colors perfectly.
